End-Grain Cutting Boards
Explore our End-Grain Cutting Boards. Handcrafted heirloom quality.
Greetings from Minnesota!
Today we would like to feature our End Grain Cutting Boards, found in our kitchenware collection. These items are a staple in the kitchen for any home-chefs. Our selection of cutting boards come in numerous sizes, colors, styles, and wood varieties.
How Are They Made?
Each of our products are handcrafted in the Midwest with high quality by our wood experts. The cutting boards, specifically, are constructed with the end grain, which makes the cutting board stronger and more practical for kitchen use. Your cutting board from Lakota Lane can include; Hard Maple, Hickory, Red Grandis, Oak, Quarter Sawn White Oak, and Walnut.
Walnut wood naturally has a strong defense against bacteria making it the perfect choice to use while handling foods.
Cutting Board Styles
The two styles of cutting boards are the regular board style and the block style. From the photos above, you will notice the block style is thicker. We also have different varieties in pattern and color —currently Onyx, Autumn, Winslow, and Iris. These include different types of wood species.
Block Cutting boards will feature a built in groove on two sides making it easy to transport between work surfaces. Go from the kitchen to dining room with ease! Our cutting boards feature rubber feet to prevent slipping and sliding on your work space. (Shown Below)
Whether you are looking for a kitchen item that is both elegant and durable, or would like to send one as a gift, the end grain cutting boards have many varieties to choose from and a quality you can depend on.
